Skladby pro filharmonické uvedení aranžoval Michael Nejtek. Grafický design vytvořil Jiří Adámek. Celý projekt dozoruje kurátor Miroslav Houška z Galerie Panská 1. Orchestry šéfdiriguje Karel Mitáš. UU? Universal Underground? Get to know the basic information about the work in a few points. UU is:

  • A musical and artistic tribute to the Velvets and Andy Warhol.
  • Main point of UU: symphony orchestra & rock band, five voices, projections and artistic overlaps.
  • We can vary. Is the orchestra too big? Better just a rock band? And what about inviting a string quartet? Or an intimate trio?
  • The main thing is the repertoire! You will hear songs from the albums The Velvet Underground & Nico (1967), The Velvet Underground (1969) and from the emotionally raw album Songs for Drella (1990).

  • The UU team is artistically and humanly excellently composed and the project is represented by: Musicians Jitka Charvátová (vocals), Tomáš Hradil (guitars, vocals), Petr Kučera (keyboards), Jan Svobodný (bass, vocals), Radim Pígl (drums), Michal Nejtek (arrangements).

    The pieces for the philharmonic performance were arranged by Michael Nejtek. Graphic design was created by Jiří Adámek. The whole project is supervised by curator Miroslav Houška from the Panská 1 Gallery. The orchestra is chiefly conducted by Karel Mitáš. Facts, details and everything about VU, AW & Factory are consulted by expert advisor Rudo Prekop.
